What’s Going On?

October 2, 2010

Well, I’m at work right now listening to Gym Class Heroes and trying not to fall asleep. The place is completely empty and there is a football game going on, so it’s going to be a slow night. After months of  unusually dry weather it is very overcast and rainy today! Finally. We watched the first session of conference at the church building today and it was great to hear the cheers in the chapel as President Monson announced the Indianapolis temple!

Then we went grocery shopping and with some smart planning and great deals we saved a lot of money! We got a free bag of IDAHO potatoes and cereal and fruit snacks for dirt cheap. I love it when there is a great sale AND you have a coupon too! It’s great when grocery shopping is what counts as excitement in our lives.

But wait we did actually do something yesterday! We took a drive out to Columbus, Indiana which is a really cool town about an hour away. Columbus is a very unique town because of its interesting architecture, ranked 6th in the nation by the American Institute of Architects. There are cool looking bridges and buildings everywhere you turn. Sadly we forgot our camera but we are definitely going back to take pictures and maybe take the Architecture Tour.

Michael is still drawing his awesome comics. I really enjoy watching him draw and seeing all the time and hard work he spends on his talents. Don’t forget to keep reading Ed the Business Warrior from Mini Dove Comics and give him your support. Tell all your friends too! Michael’s dedication has been inspiring me to get back to writing myself. I’m really enjoying writing again and thinking abut trying to get published.

This is a wonderful time of the year to visit Columbus and Nashville. It is a great drive. We all love the fall colors and Nashville has the best colors.
