The Many Feelings of Running

I am happy to report that after my first week, I am still running regularly! It is going pretty well; I can feel the progress slowly but steadily. The best feeling is when I am running and I pick a point ahead like a post or a sign and I think, “I will run until I get to that post.” But as I approach the post I know I can run further, and so I push myself to the next point and sometimes the next and the next, two or three times. That is a great feeling. But the worst feeling in running comes directly after that, when my whole body feels like it is going to puke. Running is definately one of those things that are a huge love/hate relationship.
